David Marron
David Marron lives and works in London, dividing time between his art practice and work as a paramedic. Consequently his art work has a medical influence, not only of anatomy and physiology, illness and injury, treatment and recovery, but the emotive aspect that all of this entails: the human response of failing, coping, surviving and losing. As a paramedic he is thrown into extreme situations, pivotal events in someone’s life, it is these events and the complex human testimonies of frailty and durability that he seeks to address in his art work, in turn relating this toward other disciplines. He works in various media, often with drawing as a base, a beginning.
