Harlinde De Mol
In her drawings and 3-dimensional work, Harlinde De Mol thinks about the (im)possibility of being human. About the problem of a human being as an object. On the one hand loaded with all non-tangible things we carry, burdened under all uncontrollable things that affect us. This is in contradiction with the matter, the meat of which we exist, the mold in which each of us is trapped. This matter includes at the same time our mortality, the decay of which we can not escape. The bodies that Harlinde De Mol draws are both victims of this tragedy, as messengers of the beauty that this impermanence means.
