Richard Neave- Pascale Pollier collaboration
Richard Neave in collaboration with Pascale Pollier have created on a new monument of Andreas Vesalius, an écorché or flayed man (based on one of the écorché’s in Vesalius’ De Humani Corporis Fabrica) who is holding skull representing the search for the grave. We are searching for the actual skull of Vesalius but in the meantime we have made a portrait based on known images of Vesalius and performed an ‘inside out’ facial reconstruction…
or should we say from the ‘outside in’.
