Stef lenk
Stef Lenk studied fine arts, literature and book publishing in Toronto. In 2008 she received Ontario Arts Council and Xeric Foundation funding for chapters of her ongoing project: a wordless illustrated book called ‘The Details’. She completed an MSc in Medical Art in 2012 and presently works as an artist and freelance medical illustrator in Berlin. She is a member of the AEIMS and BIOMAB. Stef is interested in the intersection between art and science, particularly with regards to the study of the human body. She believes in the capacity of art to make science and other intangible truths understandable to the greater public, and is attracted to the possibility of visual metaphor revealing deeper secrets about the world.
